Agility Assessments
Assess Portfolio, ART and Team level Agility
Service Description
An Agile assessment workshop measures the current Agile maturity level by evaluating various facets of an organization, and uses different approaches to determine the degree to which Agile principles and practices are embraced and effectively implemented. It considers **team practices, culture, and business alignment** to determine the current state. Here's a breakdown of how it's typically done: **Assessment Levels:** Agile maturity can be assessed at different levels within the organization: **Team level:** Focuses on individual team’s Agile practices and collaboration. **Program level:** Focuses on multiple teams working together to deliver a program. **Portfolio level:** Focuses on strategic alignment and prioritization of multiple programs. **Business/Organization/Enterprise level:** Focuses on enterprise-wide Agile adoption and business agility. **Key Components of Measurement:** **Practice Focus:** Evaluation of Agile ceremonies, events, and practices like Scrum, Kanban, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning. Also includes coding standards, testing, refactoring, and continuous integration. **Culture & Mindset Focus:** Assessment of team dynamics, communication, and collaboration, including roles, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and the organization’s values, adaptability, transparency, and trust. **Business Focus:** Evaluation of customer involvement, satisfaction, and feedback mechanisms, including customer-centricity and requirements gathering. **Metrics and Measurement:** Assessment of metrics and measurement practices, including velocity, cycle time, lead time, and customer satisfaction. **What are our Core Assessment Principles?** 1) Confidentiality: Results from the assessment would remain confidential and belong to the organization. 2) Non-attribution: Focus on organizational-level findings rather than individual performance. 3) Collaboration: We promote a collaborative atmosphere throughout the assessment process. Engaging all stakeholders ensures diverse perspectives are considered, leading to more comprehensive insights. 4) Action-oriented: The assessment would provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Clear, actionable items help guide organizations in their Agile transformation journey and facilitate continuous improvement.
